Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., Winner of Ply Gem?s 2011 Designed Exterior Giveaway, Shares Prize with Deserving Community Volunteer

This summer, the home of U.S. Army veteran Gary Gaal will be transformed with a low maintenance, energy efficient, beautiful exterior by Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., the largest full-service residential remodeling organization in the Metro DC area. The renovation has been made possible by Ply Gem, a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for the residential construction market, along with other product and architectural partners.
In April, Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. was announced as the winner of Ply Gem?s 2011 Designed Exterior Giveaway. Through the giveaway, the remodeling company was awarded a complete exterior home prize package valued at up to $ 50,000, and decided to pass the winnings on to a deserving community volunteer. The company accepted nominations from community partners and selected homeowner Gary Gaal, a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Army who now volunteers as an auxiliary police officer and assistant chief of the Franconia Fire Department.

Case Design will give Gaal?s home a complete exterior renovation with windows, siding, stone veneer and accessories from Ply Gem; roofing from GAF; an entry door system from Plastpro; garage doors from Wayne-Dalton; weatherization materials from Dow Building Solutions; and architectural design services from BSB Design. The Ply Gem products in the prize package will be combined to create The Designed Exterior by Ply Gem, with products from these other leading building material suppliers completing the look.
