Moving Out During Home Renovation

<object width=”425″ height=”355″>

During a home renovation, should you move out or try to live through it? You may be able to stick it out through smaller home repair jobs. However, construction is dirty, dusty and loud, and the whole renovation job will go much smoother if you move out. Watch this Expert Real Estate Tips video for opinions from builders on whether you should move out during your own home renovation job.

I’v purchased an old vacant home. It was in no condition to live in. So I’v decided to gut-out the house and do a complete renovation job. As a home owner I’m doing all of the work by myself. The job started August, 2008 and I plan to finish December of 2010. I’ll do a subsuquent update. So please look for the slide show. Thank You.

    Great advice. Don’t live in the house that you are renovating !!! especially when there is new drywall involved … you’ll get dust everywhere …

    it looks great, but you took away all the charm of an old house, when you replace everything with modern stuff.
