The Federal Reserve holding interest rates down is tantamount to plain straightforward market manipulation. Interest rates should have shot up to curb the excessive growth and reward saving rather than debt spending. That’s what keeps bubbles from inflating, but it also prevents profiteering by Wall Street.

what sank california was private business excesses, not runaway taxes, or your “anti-business mood”.

First came the energy price manipulations caused by Enron, during Republican Governor Pete Wilson’s tenure, causing rolling blackouts despite no actual energy shortages.

Then came the housing bubble, inflated by Wall Street speculation, relaxation of bank regulation by the GOP in 1999, and the liar loans handed out by lenders who knew exactly what they were doing but didn’t care.

@featherriverrafter We (TN) are being flooded with escapees from CA with horror stories – runaway taxes, anti-business mood, no jobs, societal divisions, etc. Our new neighbors are from Riverside. Bought a $700,000 home for $650,000 & it just appraised for $325,000. What a disaster.

@jawara105 You should look up info on the federal reserve who lowered interest rates to 1% and supplied that actual FUNDS to the speculators and foolish home buyers.

Greed indeed. The people who were buying those homes with no down payment thinking they could flip them a few years later were the epitome of the greed.

Have you checked out the area of Del Paso Heights in Sacramento area. The houses there are in dangerous neighborhoods. Homes were sold for the $300,000′s a few years ago. Now selling for under $100,000. Unbelievable greed and how did these areas get such a high appraised value?

@Dustycajungurl great point. I hate to say it but the quality of work of most illegals is really pathetic anyway that i have seen from the various contractors that get busted for using them.

  25. utubecenseorstruth
    Sep 5, 2010

this pathetic and people cant get this. They get under the table money. have little droppings called anchor babies who then get welfare, wic, food stamps, public housing and so forth. this is an outrage to any patriotic american of any race.

Camera + Day Labor Site + IRS = Tax Evasion, if you can prove a certain amount there is a reward. So welfare recipients won’t take these jobs?

Another aspect of such regulation is the need for a president/senate and congress that understands America has a constitution as well as laws. You may have notice the current administration has an understanding of America’s laws relating to suing American Citizens attempting to protect their state. What is needed is just the opposite, an administration that defends American Citizens. More than jobs are at stake. America’s future has never been at risk to the extent it now is. Stand up!!

I attempted this comment before and for some reason it didn’t post. One tool that is needed is fines for hiring illegals that will consume decades of dream profit years. Of course the 2nd offense would bankrupt the employer but provide government housing, food and security guards in Fort Leavenworth Prison. Take away the jobs and the illegals will leave on their own since they’re a modified version of the parasites we already have an abundance of.

mikedt13: Which group of people doesn’t care how high gas prices go, or what the economy is like? The Amish. Because they still use horse drawn buggys, and still make everything that they need, while growing their own food. Whites need to do this on a local level around the Country. You are interested in Local Offices to control, from Town and County Executives, to County Clerk and Sheriff. Once you control your little Town, you make the Codes to fit what work will be done.

    Sep 5, 2010

mikedt13: We’re looking at this all wrong, as if we need them. We don’t. Who are these homes being built for? Many White Americans. So then White Americans are pulling the purse strings on who works on these homes and Developments. The homes will be built whether we use this Scab Company, or put ads in papers across the Country for skilled Workers to build our homes, for an agreed upon price. There is a new concept. Buy the property without a structure and then hire your own Contractors.

So many Americans out of work and they’re hiring these losers. I know one young man who had to re-enlist in the army because he couldn’t find a job in construction when he got out.

@mikedt13, I agree with both of you; but we can thank liberalism for pricing Americans out of the workplace! Inflation drives up the cost of living which drives up salaries! When I worked for $3.35/hour, we weren’t paying $3.00/gallon for gas and paying taxes or “fees” on everything!

The government needs to STOP inflating the country! We need to go after the idiot in Washington, all his cronies & brain dead libs, demand tax cuts, stop spending and close the borders and look after US first!

@PattonsWhip I AGREE BUT HOW CAN YOU COMPETE WITH ILLEGALS WHO GET PAID $12/HR AND WORK 16 HOUR DAYS WITH NO OVERTIME. IF YOU ARE A COMPANY PAYING TAXES, INSURANCES , UNEMPLOYEMNT ETC. YOU CANNOT COMPETE.

NWOIS666: Now, if people only would pool their resources and talents, and start their own Building and Construction Companies, as well as other types of Businesses, we could say good-bye to the Traitorous sell-outs of this Nation, and starve them of their Consumer base, which powers them with our money, through our purchases. No customers, no money. No money, no power.
