I wish I would have watched this video before I began the project on my own. Needless to say, I was able fix it within 3-5 minutes, minus the amount of time I had to spend putting all the other unneeded parts back together, lol! I am 30/f and I was in the middle of doing laundry when the dryer just stopped spinning, Luckily the belt just slipped off track and i didnt need a new belt but anyway, I just wanted to say “THANKS SO MUCH” for putting this video out here for all us stay at home moms.

I was just about ready to throw in the (wet) towel when I saw your video.
I had everything on my Whirlpool apart and no way to know how to put it back together until I looked at your demo.
    Thanks a lot.

    Great Video!!!

My 10 year old son and I looked at your video after the belt broke on our dryer. The service call was going to be a min of $40.00 plus parts and take a day to come out. Now with a dryer full of wet clothing that would just not work. So we found a belt for $15.00 and in less then 15 min it was fixed and working :)

Thank you again for the great video.

my dad had a buddy attempt this and the guy wrapped the belt around the motor, and didnt even mess with the tensioner. technician charged over 100 bucks i believe. for what thats crazy! thanks man for the vid.

@joehandsome99 Definitely. I can understand why. I came to find out mine is a little different design, but still interally it’s the same basic stuff. The pulley they got me is narrower than the belt itself, so I’m waiting on a different pulley (the tensioner, which is what initially broke, stopping the belt and causing it to fry as the sprocket from the motor spun on it), but once that arrives it should be simple. Thanks!
