Senior Wind Grid Interfaces Engineer (Schenectady)

<p>’Be a focal point within GE Energy Wind engineering for helping customers and new product introduction teams address the variety of grid code requirements around the world
Develop a detailed knowledge electrical power grid codes in markets around the world
Lead power grid stability studies for wind farm
Facilitate wind farm grid stability proposals for customers
Identify opportunities to influence grid code requirements
Support wind farm proposals and orders in understanding and fulfilling grid code requirements
Develop approaches for load bank commissioning wind farms in advance of grid connection
Develop training and familiarize others in grid stability and code requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 8 years Engineering experience
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability and willingness to travel to customer and global GE sites as required Additional Eligibility Qualifications
GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work’
