@IBREAKJAWS I never looked inside the walls when I bought it. AND the guys that worked on it poped a hole in a pipe and that started alot of damages. Its an old house.

@crystalclearvideopro Thats a realy hard cal not seeing it myself. I would judge that as I went. If theres damage, tear it out. Personaly, I would anyway, as you say, its old. start fresh, relevel and do it yourself. You’ll know the room great by the time it ready for tile, and you’ll know its done right.

Hi …. like your video. I am remodeling my bathroom myself… yikes… I have plaster walls (old house). the bathroom as it stands now is tiled half way up. When I remove the tile, do I need to remove all the old plaster where the tiles are? Do I need to tear everything down to the wood? Thanks in advance for your advice!

You should treat the property yearly first. Second, call a contractor!!! That wall may have to go!!! Remember, I just do this on my place, I’m not a pro!!! LOL

You are lucky in the fact that you seem to have some kind of dry/plaster board already on the walls how ever old it may be. I have plaster and lath boards on my bath room walls.
