Energy Engineer (Austin)
< p>’Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform site visits to identify EEOs (Energy Efficiency Opportunities) and convince building owners of EEO benefits
Develop energy, life-cycle, and maintenance cost savings associated with EEOs
Make recommendations for retrofits and new construction projects
Perform pre- and post-inspections
Quality Control of Documentation:
Review and QC documentation of surveys and installation inspections
Perform final review of energy-efficiency calculations
Measurement and Verification (M&V):
Develop M&V plans, perform M&V activities, and interpret data to determine savings
Increase EEOs through M&V projects, presenting data to clients as viable measures
Deploy and retrieve data-logging equipment in the field
Analyzing field M&V data
Other Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze billing and utility data
Qualify potential EEO projects
Train non-technical staff on identifying and assessing EEOs
Generate leads
Required experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering
3+ years of energy auditing experience
